Applications are invited from suitably self-motivated, energetic, dynamic, confident, results-driven and innovative qualified persons for the below post tenable at Makoro Brick & Tile Plant in Palapye.

Purpose

To oversee and manage all production activities within the clay brick manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets, quality standards, operational efficiency, safety compliance and continuous improvement objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire brick manufacturing process, from raw material preparation to dispatch.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and operational efficiencies are achieved.
• Manage kiln operations, production teams and shift supervisors.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance activities with engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity and cost control.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Production or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with automated process plants and kiln-fired operations is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
