Key Responsibilities
– Diagnose, Repair, Maintain Vehicles and heavy plant including Excavators, TLBs, Graders, Dozers, Loaders, Rollers, Tipper Trucks.
– Develop and carry out preventive maintenance as per service schedule (engine, hydraulics, transmission, brakes, electrics).
– Perform field breakdown repairs on site and attend to emergency breakdowns after hours.
– Diagnose hydraulic system failures, read hydraulic schematics, test pressures and flows. Use diagnostic tools.
– Adhere to SHE safety standards.
– Complete job cards, service reports, and parts requisition forms daily.
– Supervise Assistant Mechanics / General Workers.
– Train Operators on daily checks (oil, water, grease, tracks).
– Liaise with Operators and Site Foremen on machine performance.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
– NCC or Equivalent – Heavy Plant / Diesel Plant & Auto Mechanics (With intensive knowledge in earth moving equipment repairs and diagnostics).
– 8+ years’ experience on heavy construction equipment.
– Valid driver’s license Class EC will be added advantage.
