Basic Function of the Position

The Light Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles used in mining operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Your key accountabilities include:

• Conducting routine service and maintenance of light vehicles.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Maintaining service records and report issues.
• Assisting in fleet management and maintenance planning.

Minimum Qualifications, Competencies and Experience Required

• National Craft Certificate in Auto Mechanics/ Diploma in auto mechanic engineering or any relevant qualification
• Minimum of 4 years in light vehicle/auto mechanic role
• Experience in mining industry is preferred
