• Treasury Sales Dealer (Permanent) Gaborone

Main Purpose
To liaise with existing clients as well as looking for new ones, with more emphasis on identifying customer requirements and assisting the bank in establishing profitable solutions to these requirements in a changing economic environment.

Key Responsibilities
♦ The role holder will participate in the daily treasury strategy meeting and execute agreed strategies intended to grow deal income on FX transactions.
♦ The job also entails identification of service deficiencies and provision of solutions to improve customer satisfaction. This requires regular interaction with clients to get feedback.
♦ To manage own portfolio with more emphasis on Forex and making sure that all deals are done in line with Local and Group limits and requirements.
♦ To make reports of all the business transactions and quote rates.
♦ Cross-sell the bank products and services.
♦ Ensure synergy between Wholesale and the branches to ensure effective service provided to clients.
♦ Entertain clients, and conduct seminars to discuss new products, economic trends and fundamentals, and any other new market developments deemed relevant.
♦ Conduct regular customer visits to market the banks treasury products, with the aim to cross sell where possible.
♦ Call customers daily, to provide them with an overview of the FX markets, and to explain what it means to their line of business.
♦ To initiate, grow and maintain profitable client relationships and to provide after sales service to ensure client retention.

Qualifications and Experience
♦ First degree in any discipline
♦ ACI dealing certificate
♦ Proven experience in treasury or corporate banking environment
♦ Corporate customer facing experience and 1 year banking experience
♦ Sound commercial judgment
♦ Strong negotiation skills
♦ Strong analytical skills
♦ Leadership and team management
♦ Presentation skills
♦ Intermediate Excel Skills
