Job Description

STRATEGY COORDINATION SPECIALIST (5 YEAR CONTRACT)

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent’s main purpose will be to manage, analyze, measure, monitor, and report on corporate performance and change management initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for cascading and aligning actionable strategies to enhance corporate performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors and tracks economic, business, social, political, and technological trends in order to create new ways of contributing to the business and adding value.
  • Guides the business model, strategy, and value proposition by translating key drivers to long-term goals and defining key performance measures for the business.
  • Analyses identify and integrate sources of data and trends into basic position papers, proposals, recommendations, and plans with concise and focused communication in order to inform strategic direction.
  • Recommends advanced improvements to optimize business performance, ensuring long-term capacity planning of the entire operation.
  • Creates networking opportunities to contribute to the company’s decision-making process.
  • Facilitates change projects across multiple areas and redesigns structures, systems, and processes to ensure effective change management.

Academic Qualification and Experience

The candidates should have attained the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration and/or Management, Telecommunication Technology, Strategic Management or any related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of post-graduate work experience within a strategic management environment. Experience in a telecommunication environment will be an added advantage.
