Senior Research and Training Consultant – The PR Practice

Job Description

We are searching for a research and training consultant to assist and advise our company with research tasks and deliver training programs and workshops to employees or clients. In this role you will also be required to plan and implement research for our organization as well as ensure that the best research methodologies, design, and practices are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of research tasks for the organization
  • Reviews and analyses collected data using standard practices and techniques
  • Applies sound quantitative/ or qualitative analysis techniques and methods.
  • Design and develop questionnaires, instruments and databases
  • Contributes to business development by managing proposal efforts and
  • identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Deliver training programs and workshops to employees or clients
  • Responsible for developing consistent and positive client/learner interaction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in your area of research specialization.
  • A PhD will be an added advantage.
  • Ten years’ experience as a researcher or senior lecturer in a university.
  • Demonstrable research skills such as qualitative and quantitative data analytics.
  • Impeccable writing and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in research design, report writing and source analysis.
  • A thorough knowledge of research procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct research independently.
  • A history of published articles, studies, or research work.
  • BQA assessor and moderator training.
  • Teaching qualification will be an added advantage
