Main Purpose of the Job:

Assists the Supervisor, Organisational Performance to carry out their duties. These include: drafting surveys and questionnaires, interviewing various staff members.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  1. Draft surveys and questionnaires focused on assessing the current state of mind of staff with regards to the company and any changes within the company.
  2. Assist the supervisor in identifying whether certain departments are overstaffed or understaffed as well as the skills currently available within the departments.
  3. Assist the supervisor in cascading the corporate strategy to staff.
  4. Advise management on matters related to the administration of contracts or employee discipline or grievance procedures.
  5. Assist management in reviewing the performance of staff and communicating the results to them.
  6. Assist staff in understanding the areas they need to improve on and offer general guidance.
  7. Suggest any workplace improvements to the supervisor.
  8. Management and tracking of training levy claims.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related area.

 

Experience:

  • Two (2) years’ of relevant experience in a large organisation (preferably a mass-market financial institution)
