MANUFACTURING & SALES DIRECTOR

Job brief:

We are looking for a high-performing Manufacturing & Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Manufacturing & Sales Director responsibilities will include hiring, training, and providing professional development for their teams and setting weekly, monthly, or quarterly goals based on the team’s performance to date. He/She will generate reports tracking how well each individual achieves these seasonal targets

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage all efforts by the company’s entire operations sales team, strategically planning and launching new products or services while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Continually find ways to motivate team members to boost morale and retention.
Oversee the manufacture and sales of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met. Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with the regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
Assists chief operating officer with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
Identify and share training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
Works with a chief financial officer to develop operating and sales budgets.
Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
Understanding of the policies and practices in the manufacturing & sales division
Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
Proven manufacturing & sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
Experience of 10 years and above as a manufacturing & sales director in an FMCG business is an added advantage.
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and board-level
Proven ability to drive the manufacturing & sales process from plan to close.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Proven ability to position products against competitors
Demonstrable experience as manufacturer & sales director, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
A relevant degree or equivalent would be preferred but not essential.
