Reporting To: Board of Directors & Chief Executive Officer
Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, develop and implement the provision of legal and Board secretarial services to CEDA to ensure that all activities are consistent with the provisions of the organization’s constitution, mandate and statutory provisions, and in compliance with international standards of Corporate Governance. To protect the interests of CEDA and maximize recovery of monies due to the organization.
Responsible for providing corporate secretarial services to the Board of Directors.
Position Requirements
Education: LLB Degree and admission to practice in the High Court of Botswana.
Professional: Membership of Chartered Institute of Secretaries would be an added advantage.
Experience: At least 6–8 years relevant management experience in general legal practice, with at least 3 years at senior management level. Thorough knowledge of legal processes and company secretarial functions is required.
