Job Purpose
- Execute commercial business strategies in the area of operation.
- Proactively manage customer relationships to ensure sustained business growth using Sales First Tools, such as SPANCOP, time tracking, and weekly plans.
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage customer relationships for sustainable business development.
- Grow business volume and profitability (C3) according to annual targets.
- Manage trade debtors to achieve targeted debt ratios.
- Implement class-of-business strategy in line with marketing policy and principles.
- Monitor and report on competitors’ marketing activities.
- Deliver strong customer value propositions.
- Liaise with service centres to ensure compliance with delivery levels and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure high return on asset utilization.
- Identify and prioritize key stakeholders (community leaders, NGOs, etc.) and assess business/reputational impact.
- Participate in annual target-setting processes.
- Manage within agreed operating and capital expenditures.
- Ensure all customers have signed supply agreements.
- Enforce compliance with Vivo Energy’s business principles and HSSE requirements.
The ideal candidate must have:
- University degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Commercial degree/diploma or equivalent, especially in Sales & Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing or sales environment.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
