VACANCY CIRCULAR NO.3 OF 2022

EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT

The Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employ suitably qualified Non-Uniformed Personnel for the following position:

  1. CLERK OF COURT/ASSISTANT CLERK OF COURT C4/3 X1

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Court Administration or related field

Experience Entry Level.

No experience required

Salary scale C4/3 (P98,352 – P136,812)

Leave 25 working days per annum

Benefits:

  3. Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P309.00 per monthJob purpose To manage registries of the Court Martial.

Job Duties and Responsibility

  1. Manage registries of the Court Martial.
  2. Supervise junior staff.
  3. Ensure regular payment of fines.
  4. Prepare and submit regular returns of unpaid court fines.
  5. Issue committal warrants for non-payment of fines pursuit to court orders.
  6. Ensure safe custody of court records and achieves completed court files.
  7. Attend to queries from the public and attorneys.
  8. Ensure safe custody of exhibits.
  9. Prepare court rolls and motions.
