The Bank is seeking a highly accomplished executive to join its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO). This critical role is responsible for driving the Bank’s digital transformation agenda and ensuring seamless alignment between technology and operations to deliver superior customer experience, operational efficiency, resilience, and innovation.
About the Role
As Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO), you will drive the Bank’s digital transformation by aligning technology and operations to deliver superior customer experience, operational efficiency, and innovation. You will lead the modernization of core systems, digital banking platforms, process automation, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring a smooth transition to a customer-centric, agile, and future-ready institution while balancing innovation, risk management, and operational excellence.
Reports to CEO.
Supervises Head of Operations & Head of Technology .
Key Responsibilities
  •  Digital Transformation and Innovation Leadership: Lead and execute the bank’s digital transformation strategy, driving innovation, agility, and customer-centric digital solutions.
  • Technology Governance, Architecture, and Infrastructure: Oversee enterprise technology architecture and infrastructure to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable banking systems.
  • Operational Excellence and Process Optimization: Drive process digitisation, automation, and operational efficiency across core and back-office banking operations.
  • Information Security, Risk, and Compliance: Lead cybersecurity and technology risk management, ensuring regulatory compliance and institutional digital trust.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Champion data governance and analytics to enable insight-driven decision-making and enhanced customer engagement.
  • Vendor, Partner, and Ecosystem Management: Manage technology vendors and fintech partnerships to deliver value, quality service, and compliant digital ecosystems.
People, Culture, and Change Leadership: Lead digital teams and change initiatives to embed a high-performance, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, COBIT, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ progressive experience in Technology and Operations within banking or financial services, including at least 5 years at senior or executive management level.
  • Proven track record in leading digital transformation, core banking modernisation, and large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology governance, cybersecurity, data management, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments, including boards, regulators, vendors, and strategic partners.
