Applications are invited from suitably self-motivated, energetic, dynamic, confident, results-driven and innovative qualified persons for the below post tenable at Makoro Brick & Tile Plant in Palapye.

Purpose

To manufacture, repair and maintain precision machine components required for the operation of the brick manufacturing plant, minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring the continuous availability of critical spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and repair machine components and replacement parts.
• Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines and drilling equipment.
• Modify tooling and machine parts according to engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, fabrication and welding tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Turner Machinist.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Trade Certificate or relevant machining qualification is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
