TECHNICIAN- WATER PUMPS AND MOTORS
APEX SOLAR IS LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED PUMP TECHNCIAN
Apex Solar is 100% citizen owned company involved in the business of wholesale, distribution, installation of solar & borehole products. Apex solar is an authorized distributor for submersible pumps and motors for premium brands like CRI. VANSAN. FRANKLIN ELECTRIC etc. Apex Solar is also authorized service center for Submersible Pumps & Motors.
To lead our pump & motor service department we are looking for experienced pump service mechanic to support our farmer clients. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of all kinds of submersible and surface pumps. AC/DC motors, oil-filled & water-filled motors etc.
– Should have experience in handling & installing all kinds of pumps and motors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in handling submersible pumps & motors, maintenance & troubleshooting of AC/DC motors. BGCE/Certificate in Vocational Education & Training, preferably in Motor Mechanics or equivalent.

JOB PROFILE
Pump Technicians make sure pump equipment is in good operating condition by completing the following task.
– inspecting pumps, determining technical issues.
– connecting hoses, reporting deficiencies to supervisors, and writing inspection reports.
– completing maintenance and repair work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Plans, carries out and evaluates preventive maintenance schedules for all designated mechanical equipment, either personally, or through outside vendors.
– Inspect, diagnose and perform major and minor repair work on motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves and related equipment.
– Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, engines and compressors.
– Inspects, adjusts and replaces necessary units and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work.
– Conducts various analyses and inspections of mechanical systems to determine the most cost-effective means of maintenance, repair or replacement. Initiates and purchases equipment, parts, and supplies used for mechanical system maintenance in compliance with departmental and city procedures.
– Provides emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate. Assists in the preparation of bid specifications for mechanical equipment.
– Maintains records, prepares reports and other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment.
