VACANCY
AT & T Travel invites applications from suitable candidates (citizens & non-citizens) for the following position:
TRAVEL MANAGER

Main Purpose:
Responsible for the Air Travel portfolio of the company including sales, operations and ensuring business continuity.

Key Duties:
• Ability to sell domestic and international flights
• Ability to sell domestic and international accommodation and car hire, transfers and other land arrangements
• Ability to calculate international, regional and domestic fares and upgrades
• Ability to exchange air tickets
• Full understanding of BSP
• Ability to process ticket refunds
• Have full understanding and ability to interpret and follow fare rules
• Sound geographical knowledge
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
• Ability to manage and lead a team of travel consultants

Job Requirements:
• An Amadeus / Galileo Global Distribution Systems Certificate
IATA/UFTAA CONSULTANT DIPLOMA
IATA/UFTAA FOUNDATION DIPLOMA
• International Tourism Certificate
• Extensive Knowledge of Galileo/Amadeus distribution systems & BSP operations
• Minimum ten (10) years post qualification experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry, five (5) of which should have been working in a senior or management position.
• Have travel experience in neighboring countries (SADC)
• Have traceable references
• An up to date Curriculum Vitae
