SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Job-Description
The Travel Consultant’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Handle corporate bookings – domestic, regional, and international reservations.
• Ticketing, car hire and accommodation reservations.
• Assist/Advise with Visa applications.
• Liaise with Airlines.
• Attend to accounts queries from clients.
• Order and issue foreign exchanges.
• Handle trade/customer relationships.
• Make recommendations on organizational development matters to enhance organizational efficiency and productivity.

Required Qualifications & experience

• IATA Travel Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of both Amadeus & Galileo GDS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good knowledge of the operations of Travel Industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role.

Key performance Areas
• Selling/issuing tickets.
• Client Interactions.
• Ability to train team members.
