Job Summary: Employer: Thuto Boswa Rehabilitation Centre (Ramotswa). Job Type: Full-time. Location: Ramotswa, Botswana. Category: Healthcare. Salary: BWP 99,348 per annum. Closing Date: 2026-12-11. Key Responsibilities: Ensures that people with disability receive quality services at the institution and in the community. Conduct Assessments and implement rehabilitation plans for learners. Transfers relevant skills to learners, caregivers and team. Ensure learners are able to carry out Activities of Daily Living. Establish strong community and key stakeholder networks. Plans and implements all projects such as IBR, CBR and meeting BQA standards. Assist with relevant resource mobilization for unit. Raise awareness on disability rights and carry out community mobilisations with various stakeholders and target groups. Organize and recommend for appropriate assistive devices, supportive activities such as sports and educational activities outside the classroom. Document and maintain records for all learners and conduct occasional relevant research for the unit. Assists the Executive Director to ensure the smooth running of the Organization. Carries out any other duties as may be assigned by the Centre leadership for the benefit of learners and that of the Centre. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Special Education (ID), Health and Social Care, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or Medical Rehabilitation Studies from recognized Tertiary Institutions. At least six (6) years post qualification with experience in using modern equipment/ Treatment or assessment modalities used in Rehabilitation and Education. Knowledge and experience in Disability Education and Rehabilitation. Highly analytical with great problem solving skills. Knowledgeable in community stakeholder and resource mapping. Exceptional organizing ability, high degree of initiative, good with people, and able to thrive under work pressure. Team member with the ability to work in a team of highly qualified staff. Registration with Regulating Body where applicable. Ability to guide curriculum execution and review. Diplomatic and able to articulate sensitive issues. In possession of a Driver’s licence. Digital/Computer skills to be able to conduct online research.
