Applications are invited from suitably self-motivated, energetic, dynamic, confident, results-driven and innovative qualified persons for the below post tenable at Makoro Brick & Tile Plant in Palapye.
Location: Automated Clay Brick Manufacturing Plant
Purpose
To maintain, optimize and improve the plant’s automated control systems, ensuring reliable operation of PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, kilns, packaging lines and other production equipment to maximize productivity, efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Program, maintain and optimize PLC systems across the brick manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot automation, instrumentation and control system faults.
- Integrate PLCs with SCADA/HMI systems.
- Support robotics, palletizing, packaging, kiln, drying and material handling systems.
- Implement automation improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Extensive PLC programming experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Proficiency in Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or similar PLC platforms.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication networks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with robotics and automated production systems is an advantage.
