ARV PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – FIXED TERM CONTRACT BPS 33/2/1 Vol.1 (30) (TENABLE IN CENTRAL MEDICAL STORES, GABORONE)
JOB SUMMARY
To work closely with Ministry of Health to receive, store, and distribute ARV and related drugs to Public Health Facilities as per Service Level Agreement between Botswana Postal Services and Ministry of Health. The position directly reports to the ARV Coordinator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct Quality Assurance Inspection on all received goods.
• Conduct verification process on all picked products for issuance.
• Conduct periodical FEFO/FIFO Inspections.
• Train and evaluate ARV department staff on SOP use and adherence.
• Conduct regular ARV departmental meetings.
• Guide subordinates on work performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Higher National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology and registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council
EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of 2 years in Pharmaceutical Environment particularly with a focus on HIV/AIDS. Having done Kitso Training will be an added advantage.
