Job Summary

Reliance Foundries (Pty) Ltd invites applications from suitably experienced candidates for the position of Oxygen / Nitrogen Gas Plant Operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent operation and maintenance of an industrial Oxygen/Nitrogen Gas Production Plant, including air separation unit, compressors, pumps, air lines and associated equipment.
• Carrying out plant start-up and shutdown, routine operation, preventive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.

Requirements

The applicant must have practical experience in the independent operation and maintenance of an industrial Oxygen/Nitrogen Gas Production Plant, including air separation unit, compressors, pumps, air lines and associated equipment. The candidate must be capable of carrying out plant start-up and shutdown, routine operation, preventive maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. A minimum of five (5) years’ practical experience operating and maintaining Oxygen/Nitrogen or similar industrial gas production plants is essential.
