Job Description
- upervise storage, issuing, receiving, stocktaking and disposal of materials.
- Manage daily parts dispensation and replacement.
- Assist in processing weekly stock order and compile stock control reports.
- Stock replenishment and management of stock.
- Ensuring that the section maintains a safety record commensurate with the organisation’s standards and policies.
- Conduct market research and report on movements in price and changes in terms being offered.
- Expedite all orders within required limits.
- Manage supplier relationships including quality and supply issues, improving supplier performance and building successful supply chain partnerships.
- Ensure good housekeeping.
- Analyse internal purchasing processes and suggest improvements to ensure continuity of the department’s performance.
Job Requirements
- CIPS level 3 or Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or equivalent.
- 4 years working experience preferably in a mining environment
- High levels of communication and sound interpersonal skills.
