Job Description
Foods Botswana (Pty) Ltd is the leading nutritional Food Manufacturer in Botswana located at Serowe. We are committed to providing necessary resources for the management, operation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System processes to meet and exceed the requirements of the BOS ISO 9001:2015 Standard. We are currently looking for suitable qualified, highly motivated and competent team player to team up in Serowe.
Job Summary
The successful candidate should have the ability to service and repair all plant mechanical equipment, ensuring that it is maintained in good working conditions to optimize the plant’s production capacity. The incumbent will also be responsible for organizing, supervising, and controlling the provision of maintenance services throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair all plant mechanical equipment to optimize production capacity.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in good working conditions.
- Organize, supervise, and control the provision of maintenance services throughout the plant.
Requirements
- Hold at least a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Millwright qualification.
- At least ten (10) years’ post-qualification experience in large-scale mechanical maintenance environments.
- Five (5) years of experience must have been gained in the food industry, specifically in extrusion and milling plants.
- General knowledge of electrical repairs will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
