Job Summary

Join Exploration Investment Company Botswana (EICB) and help unlock Botswana’s mineral potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • To coordinate and maintain marketing and communications activities and schedules in line with EICB objectives.
  • Coordinate EICB marketing and communications events and ensure effective execution, documentation and reporting.
  • Support consistent, accurate and timely internal and external communication on behalf of EICB.
  • Support the development and implementation of EICB marketing and branding initiatives in accordance with approved brand standards.
  • Support targeted, structured and professional engagement with EICB stakeholders to strengthen awareness, information flow and working relationships.
  • Provide reliable operational support, records and performance information to enable effective management of EICB marketing and communications activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Training in digital marketing, social media management, content creation or event management would be an advantage.
  • 5 Years relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, corporate communications or a related environment.
  • Practical experience coordinating marketing campaigns, corporate communications and events.
  • Experience developing and coordinating marketing and communications materials.
  • Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining marketing databases, activity schedules, records and reports.
  • Exposure to a mining, minerals, investment, economic development, government or other technically complex environment would be advantageous.
