We seek someone who will lead, from the heart of our home in Maun, with the grace of the Thamalakane, the resilience of the acacia tree and the majesty of the baobab. One who understands the ebb and flow of nature, the delicate balance of ecosystems, and the unique rhythm of this untamed orchestra.
REQUIREMENTS
- 20 years’ (or more) experience in safari operations, primarily in the private sector, with 15 years in a senior operational leadership role
HIGH LEVEL FOCUS
- Provide operational and strategic leadership in support of the overall business plan
- Grow the reputation, footprint and culture of the business across all areas
- Balance the business’ dual focus on conservation and hospitality
- Formulate short- and medium-term strategies to ensure the business objectives are met
- Drive the company’s operating capabilities to ensure all aspects are run effectively and efficiently
- Direct forecasting processes and manage relevant business relationships
