WE INVITE APPLICATIONS FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FORTHE POSITION OF: MANAGING DIRECTOR- STRUCTURAL STEEL, FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION AND SUPPLIERS OF ENGINEERINGTOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.

Main purpose of the job:
As Senior Management Team member of the company successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
• Overall Management of Botswana operations
• Marketing/Estimating/ Planning /Procurement/ Production/lnstallation
• Strategic inputs for the sustainability and growth of the company. Implement new marketing and growth strategies.
• Develop & maintain sincere, professional & mutually supportive relationships with customers & employees of the company, further our company image.
• Understanding and applying relevant design and manufacturing codes of practice (BOBS, SABS, BSI etc) and other relevant standards. Knowledge of proper welding and erecting processes.

Skills Required
• Degree Qualification in Engineering;
• Minimum 25 years’experience in Structural Steel fabrication & Installation, managing employees of up to 100 Artisans/Fabricators/Welders/Riggers of various skill levels.
• Experience in a senior managerial position and be conversant with all aspects of structural steel engineering.
• Being fully computer literate and competent on Auto Cad, Tekla etc.
• Flexibility to travel all over Botswana.
• Have a ‘hands on’ approach to all facets of the Business.
• Committed, hard- working, self-motivated with high initiative, irreproachable integrity and honesty, pragmatic, effective, energetic, Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• The successful applicant must be an assertive, innovative and decisive individual with very strong people management, organizational and coordinating skills and Good communication and interpersonal skills.
