Maintenance Personnel – Manong Game Lodge

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* Inspecting the lodge and the hotel, equipment, and systems.

* Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures

* Maintain  and repair lodge borehole systems and farm watering equipment.

* Repairing kitchen and laundry equipment and diagnose faults

* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures

* Managing heating and plumbing system to guarantee functionality

* Planning and scheduling repairs for both the Lodge and the hotel.

* Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.

* Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting and carpentry.

* Perform maintenance on electrical components (repair light bulbs and sockets, circuit breaker etc.

* Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance.

* Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

* General day to day maintenance of the hotel rooms, solar plant, company vehicles, boreholes and performing maintenance of the staff residence.

* Compile monthly maintenance administrative duties

Skills and Qualifications 

* Diploma or advanced certificate in a related field

* 5 Years or more proven experience in a similar role

* Game Lodge or Safari Lodge experience

* Electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning experience is required

* Must be computer literate

* Class B drivers’ licence
