Livestock Production Officer – Abba Beef
Job Description
Abba Beef is a newly constructed medium throughput cattle processing abattoir based in Serowe along the Palapye-Serowe road. We are an ambitious organisation that wants to make a sustainable mark in the industry and create value for cattle farmers. We are about to start operations hence we are recruiting.

Main purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Officer shall be responsible for the efficient implementation of the Livestock Procurement strategy.
Key Performance Areas:
⦁ Implementation of Livestock Procurement Strategy
⦁ Optimal utilisation of plant by daily delivery of design capacity cattle.
⦁ Supplier satisfaction and focus
⦁ Ensuring compliance with applicable industry Standards

⦁ Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualification:
⦁ Diploma in Animal Health and Production or equivalent
Experience:
⦁ At least (5) five years of experience in Livestock industry operations preferably as a Livestock Extension Officer
⦁ An understanding of Agribusiness will be an added advantage.
