Job Description:
Botic Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Jwaneng on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing site maps and providing accurate data to support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to establish property boundaries, topographical features and construction layouts.
- Utilize surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations and levels to gather accurate data.
- Interpret and analyze survey data to prepare reports, maps and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local land regulations, zoning laws and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and construction teams to provide accurate site information.
- Maintain and update survey records and documentation.
- Identify potential surveying issues and recommend solutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
- Strong understanding of land laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
