Survey Assistant – Sandfire Motheo
Job Description
This position is responsible for carrying out construction and mine surveying field work in a safe, accurate, honest and timely manner.
- To assist the project surveyors with daily survey updates and set outs of approved plans.
- To conduct as-built inspections of project areas to ensure compliance to approved designs.
- To assist in producing survey plans to the required standard.
- To verify accuracy of survey data presented by project contractors.
- Ensure that all survey equipment is cleaned and maintained in good order
- Adheres to safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:Â
- Minimum BGCSE or equivalent
- Light Vehicle Drivers License Class B
Experience:Â At least 1 Year experience in survey
Competencies:Â Â
- Attention to detail is a crucial skill

- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
