Applications are invited from suitably and self-motivated, energetic and innovative qualified persons for the below post tenable at Makoro Brick in Palapye.
IMPORT LOGISTICS LIASON COORDINATOR
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To facilitate fleet from different places and factories in south Africa for import into Botswana.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in transport logistics or related field
• Computer savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
• Possess a valid Driver’s Licence.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good knowledge of international routes – especially south Africa
• Knowledge and experience in using tracking software
MAIN DUTIES
• To monitor and guide truck drivers once in South Africa for the right route
• To provide oversight for daily truck route planning and logistics
• Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of the goods
• Collaborating with supplier to gather product information and shipping details
• Managing all aspects of the import process, including customs clearance and transportation logistics.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Keeping accurate records of all import transactions and maintaining appropriate documentation
