POSITION: HEAD OF SCHOOL OF NURSING – KANYE SEVENTH – DAY ADVENTIST COLLEGE OF NURSING

VACANCY:
Botswana Union conference of the Seventh – Day Adventist Church in Botswana is looking for a transformational, business minded, people centred, motivated and experienced individual to head the Kanye Seventh – Day Adventist College of Nursing.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the general direction of the Board of Trustees, the incumbent will provide strategic, business and operational leadership to the College to ensure the provision of cutting edge nursing education; attain agreed short-medium and long-term targets and goals and manage risk; closely coordinate and work with the strategic partners and regulators to ensure the School meets all governance and training quality requirements.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Masters in nursing or any Health-related profession/discipline. A doctorate will be an added Advantage

EXPERIENCE:

•At least 10 years’ experience in a nursing or health institute of which five years should have been at in a senior management role.
•Demonstrate a strong understanding and management of finances
•Leadership experience, business delivery and research are essential.
