Graduate Trainee – Survey & Ventilation – Morupule Coal Mine
Job Description
Job Purpose:
To develop technical, professional, and soft skills by giving practical exposure to various Mining Technical sections of Survey and Ventilation on a 24-months development programme.
Key Activities:
- To attain an excellent and broad learning experience on rotational basis whilst adhering to applicable policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
- Identifies and recommends creative and innovative ideas to improve the Mini Business Units performance.
- Takes responsibility for providing excellent services by developing self, applying skills and knowledge to improve and measure their own performance against the set development objectives.
Position Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Mine Surveying, Mineral Resources Management, Mining, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of second-class upper division (4.0/5 GPA or 70%) or equivalent.
- The candidate should have not graduated earlier than the year 2020.
- Demonstrable extra-curricular participation.
- Understanding of SHE Management System ISO 45001: 2018 & ISO 14001: 2015.
