Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Forex Officer tenable at Capital City Branch at grade 4A.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for complying with all Forex, Regulatory and Operational related policies and procedures and providing staff and clients with service excellence. The primary area of responsibility, but not necessarily limited thereto is Forex Leadership, Management and Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervising of Forex staff with a focus on fulfilment of all Forex transactions for customers, processing of invoices.
· Managing the remittance of BOEs according to the Bank’s procedures while mitigating risks associated with Forex transactions.
· Handling cash from Forex staff during the daily operations.
· Verifying that all cash collected from Forex staff is correct as per declaration.
· Ensuring Forex rates are correctly displayed in the Branch – up to date and visible.
· Supporting staff to aid the provision of service excellence.
· Co-custodian of Forex working stock with the Forex Officer.
· Accurately posting all transactions in Finacle system, as per the Bank’s procedures.
Reconciling Forex transactions processed as per the Bank’s processing procedures

· Degree in Banking, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related degree from recognized institution
- A seasoned banker with minimum 2 years of experience in forex or treasury management,
