Key Responsibilities
– Conduct or assist with workplace fire inspections.
– Ensure emergency exits and escape routes remain clear.
– Raise the alarm during a fire emergency.
– Account for people at the assembly point.
– Report fire hazards and unsafe conditions.

Requirements
– Fire-marshal training from a recognised training institution
– Training in the correct use of fire extinguishers
– Knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures
– Familiarity with fire alarms and emergency communication procedures.
