Key Responsibilities
– Supervised clinical consultations seeing patients age 11 to 26 years
– If paediatrics trained, supervised paediatric gynaecology consultations
– Teach in topics of adolescent and young adult health and well-being
– Co-create curriculum for adolescent health training for residents and future fellowship
– Develop expertise in medical education
– Develop research expertise with option to do online master’s degree
– Develop leadership and advocacy skills related to adolescent health
Requirements
– Must have completed a paediatric, internal medicine or family medicine residency
– Have a passion for adolescents.
– Must hold a license to practice medicine in Botswana under your primary specialty
– Botswana citizens will be given priority but all relevant specialists may apply.
