Full job description
We are looking to hire elevator operatives to service and maintain our client’s elevators. As an elevator operative, you will be required to assist in the installation of new elevators, perform routine maintenance, repair, or replace parts, and housekeeping on daily basis.

Elevator Operative Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation of elevators.
• Responding to mechanical failures and system malfunctions.
• Replacing system parts as directed by the technicians.
• Oiling and greasing moving parts. •
• Maintaining a clean working area.

Elevator Operative Requirements:
• Trade B, C or Certificate level in electrical or mechanical
• 2+ years experience working in mining environment.
• Relevant elevator maintenance certification will be added advantage.
• Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
• Ability to work independently.
