Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in leading and managing all academic affairs of the school.
- Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, schemes of work, and assessment standards.
- Coordinate all Cambridge examinations, including registrations, entries, timetabling, invigilation, security of materials, and compliance with Cambridge regulations.
- Analyse examination results and lead strategies to improve learner performance.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, including lesson observations and professional development.
- Ensure implementation of school academic policies and procedures.
- Act as Principal when required.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification/Degree in education.
- Valid registration with the appropriate professional body.
- At least 10 years’ teaching experience, preferably 3 years with academic leadership or management experience.
- Proven experience with the Cambridge International curriculum and examinations (IGCSE/AS & A Level); experience as a Cambridge Examinations Officer will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and mandatory ICT skills.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with operational effectiveness.
