The Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employ suitably qualified Non-Uniformed Personnel for the following position:
- CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER E2 – CONTRACT, TENABLE AT DCSC
Qualifications
A Master Degree of Military Art or Master of Military Strategic Studies, Master of Education Philosophy/Educational Psychology/Training and Curriculum Development or any equivalent and related field will be an added advantage.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of Curriculum Development
Salary scale E2 (P407,484– P423,972) per annum
Leave 30 working days per annum.

Job purpose
Manage the review and development of Curriculum at Defence Command & Staff College to ensure compliance to legislation and standards
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide advice on curriculum development to ensure compliance to policies, standards and legislation.
- Manage the assessment and development of academic programs to ensure achievement of learning goals and objectives.
- Participate in professional development growth activities for the purposes of maintaining professional knowledge and staying current with curricular trends.
- Liaise with relevant professional associations as well as government regulatory and accreditation agencies to ensure compliance to legislation and standards.
- Establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the curriculum environment to ensure consistency in the Professional Military Education (PME).
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify new training & development requirements and recommend training and learning methods accordingly.
- Implement Performance Management System to ensure achievement of the BDF vision.
- Liaise with Botswana Qualifications Authority for accreditation of Assessors & Moderators including other Botswana Defence Force Training Institutions.
