Job Description

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (Cl)
Minimum Requirements:
⦁ B. Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
⦁ Must be a registered Engineer
⦁ Mining qualifications are an added advantage
⦁ Six (6) – Ten (10) years of experience
⦁ Mine site application engineering experience in an Earth Moving & Mobile Equipment environment with experience in:
⦁ Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement Methodologies
⦁ Load & haul operations at opencast mine sites
⦁ Mine application engineering for mobile equipment (beneficial)
⦁ Data analysis from fleet management software (beneficial)
⦁ Proven track record of successful customer relationships (references)
Job role includes:
⦁ Tactical SHE, assesses and critically reviews processes in Safety
& Health Environmental Improvement Projects
⦁ Continuous Improvement Projects and Product Support
⦁ Plans and prepares communication on specific project interventions
⦁ Drives the change management & communication plan
⦁ Executes project management tasks
⦁ Proposes Cl initiatives via customer engagement together with operations leadership in a consultative process
