Humana People to People Botswana is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the following positions:

     – Community Health Worker – HTS x2

Job Summary
The Community Health Worker reports to the Senior Community Health Worker. The position will oversee all field work and conduct data collections and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
📌Screen people to find out their need for HIV testing
📌Conduct HIV counselling and testing
📌Do referral for people with TB symptoms.
📌Screen the HIV positive people for TB and STIs
📌Refer the HIV positive people who are presumptive for TB for TB sputum test or collect it in their home using a mask
📌Follow up the HIV positive people to routine testing in the facility and registration for treatment in IDCC.

Qualifications and Key requirements
🖊️Relevant Advanced Certificate in HIV Counselling and Testing. Diploma or qualification with public health background with extensive experience in HIV management/basic counselling will be an added advantage.
🖊️Minimum of one year experience in a similar field.
🖊️The CHW will generate demand for HIV services in the community.
