Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager – Mining with a strong track record in winning and growing mining business in Botswana.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage the national mining opportunity pipeline
• Identify new mining projects and expansion opportunities
• Develop relationships with key mining decision-makers
• Lead tenders through to contract award
• Negotiate major commercial agreements
• Manage strategic mining accounts
• Drive customer retention and profitable growth
• Sell technical and value-added mining solutions

Requirements

• 8-10+ years’ commercial / mining / business development experience
• Proven mining-sector sales track record
• Strategic account management experience
• Strong tender & contract negotiation skills
• Understanding of fuels, lubricants & mining operations
• Strong commercial & financial acumen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mining, Business, Marketing, Sales or related field

Mining-sector commercial experience is essential.
