Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above mentioned post at Matal Ventures (Pty) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Civil Supervisor in overall management and control of Pre-Contract, execution and Post Contract stages.
• Assisting in planning and resourcing of works.
• Assisting in quantifying, measuring and ordering of materials/consumables.
• Assisting in supervising teams to achieve planned targets.
• Assisting in day to day site office work, implementation and technical consultations.
• Preparing daily site reports and assisting in evaluation of contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant acts, code of practice, regulations and safety requirements.
• Learning on-the-job training on design principles, construction techniques and maintenance techniques.
• Monitoring equipment and materials on site.
• Undertakes any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Applicants should be registered with Engineers Registration Board as a Graduate Engineer or eligible for registration.
• Recent graduate (2023 – 2026).
• 0-2 years relevant work experience in building and construction will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and basic quantity take-off.
• A Valid Class B Driver’s license will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Concrete works, setting out and site supervision.
