Job Summary
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as design and supervision of Civil Engineering Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project technical and regulatory requirements and design softwares. The Civil Engineer will also be interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, as well as working closely with project staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and supervision of Civil Engineering Infrastructure projects.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, as well as work closely with project staff.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Problem solving and decision making.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering. A qualification in project management is an added advantage.
- Must be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineer and with a valid Practicing Certificate.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- 12 years’ experience of which 8yrs in large civil engineering infrastructure design and construction supervision.
- AutoCAD and design software experience required.
- Must have experience with project management, client-relations management, design, and technical staff supervision.
- Solid technical writing, presentation and communication skills.
