Job Summary
To coordinate auditing of utilisation of government resources and monitor implementation of recommendations to improve risk management, control and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the Ministry on optimum utilization of public resources.
- Provide consultancy services on risk management, control, governance and information systems.
- Coordinate review of internal controls, risk management and information systems.
- Perform preliminary review of current audit files.
- Coordinate implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
- Undertake research and compile data for new framework/projects and recommend improvements in governance processes.
- Coordinate automation of internal audit processes.
- Coordinate follow-ups on outstanding issues from pervious audits and recommendations.
- Supervise development of work plans, capacity building plans and audit programmes.
- Supervise the implementation of the annual audit work plans.
- Prepare quarterly activity reports.
- Review and monitor performance of supervisees.
- Conduct staff meetings.
- Attend operations and management meetings.
- Facilitate Ministerial Audit Committee meetings.
- Prepare the budget and monitor implementation.
- Identify skills gaps of the supervisees, conduct on-the-job training and recommend relevant training when need arises.

Salary
P386,892 – P426,660 per annum
