CDR CONTRACTS IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A BRANCH MANAGER IN BOTSWANA

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric and Diploma or Degree in relevant field
• 7 + years of scaffolding experience in the Construction Industry
• Proven experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be local to Botswana.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Branch manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a specific branch or location withing the company.  They play a crucial role in ensuring the branch’s profitability, growth, and overall success

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide effective leadership to the branch team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and motivate employees to achieve company goals.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.

2. Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

3. Business Development

• Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, expand the branch’s customer base, and increase revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
