Applications are invited from suitably and self-motivated, energetic and innovative qualified persons for the below post tenable at Makoro Brick in Palapye.

BOILERMAKER x3

MAIN PURPOSE OF TH E JOB: To assist with Fabricating, welding of plant components.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Measures, fabricate and assembles parts and welds none critical items.
•Study blueprints to determine locations, relationships or dimensions of parts.
•Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts i.e., safety valves/ regulators using torches, jacks, power saws, welding equipment etc
•Weld and fabricate metal components.
•Layout plate, steel sheets, or other heavy metal and locate and mart bending and cutting lines using protractors, compasses and drawing instruments or templates.
•Straighten or reshape bent pressure vessel plates or structure parts, using hammers, jacks or torches.
•Install refractory bricks or other heat resistant materials in fire boxes of pressure vessels.
•Assist with housekeeping in area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
•O level certificate plus NCC In Welding & Fabrication or equivalent.
•5 years’ experience in a mining industry
