Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance & Air Conditioning Team Leader, the position will be responsible for carrying out service, repair work and modifications on Refrigeration plant and equipment in line with the set standards and requirements.

Description

The incumbent will be responsible for, among others, the following:

• Complying with maintenance and air conditioning protocols and third-party requirements.
• Complying with SHEQ protocols for continuous improvements.
• Undertaking corrective actions from SHEQ and QMS audits.
• Providing technical information for use on process and system modification.
• Testing equipments after service and repair work to confirm that equipment operates to specifications and certifies completion of work.
• Accounting for tools and materials after job completion.

Minimum Requirements

The right candidate will possess the following minimum requirements:

• A National Craft Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• At least two (2) years’ post apprenticeship experience in an engineering maintenance environment preferably in the manufacturing sector.
