Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for managing the digital and social marketing functions of the organisation. This involves collecting and analysing web data as well as maintaining digital and social marketing campaigns.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Collect data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
• Gather data on competitors and analyse their digital and social marketing initiatives.
• Regularly maintain the organisation’s website and ensure that it represents the Bank positively.
• Prepare reports that provide details on the amount of traffic online campaigns are creating, how much campaigns cost, and outlining the timetables and schedules for online marketing campaigns.
• Ensure that all web data is encrypted to avoid loss of confidential information.
• Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
• Measure and assess the sentiment towards any current digital or social marketing campaigns.
• UNDERTAKE OTHER RELATED ACTIVITIES AS DIRECTED BY MANAGER, MARKETING

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Corporate Communications or related area.
• Additional computer science and / or digital marketing qualifications will be an added advantage.

Experience
• Two (2) years’ of relevant experience in digital marketing, online brand management or related area.
