Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily centre operations, including cleanliness, security, landscaping, signage, accessibility and overall presentation.
• Maintain strong tenant relationships, resolve operational concerns and monitor compliance with centre rules and lease obligations.
• Monitor lease expiries, vacancies, tenant fit-outs and retention risks, escalating matters requiring approval.
• Coordinate and follow up on tenant arrears and support the resolution of tenant account queries.
• Manage outsourced service providers and contractors, monitoring performance against agreed service standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, maintain maintenance and defect registers, and ensure timely corrective action.
• Contribute to annual budgets, monitor operating expenditure and explain material cost variances.
• Coordinate procurement requirements and quotations, and verify satisfactory delivery of goods and services within delegated authority.
• Manage centre safety, operational risks, incident reporting and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate approved marketing events, promotions and tenant activations to enhance customer experience.
• Supervise the Property Administrator, maintain accurate property records and prepare comprehensive monthly management reports.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Property, Facilities Management, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• At least five years’ relevant experience in property management, shopping centre management, facilities management or operations, including exposure to tenants, contractors and budgets.
• Relevant professional certification and membership of REIB and REAC.
• Experience using property management systems will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and service providers.
• Strong financial and commercial literacy, including an understanding of leases, operating costs, budgets and tenant accounts.
