Job Summary

Bolux Group requires the services of a qualified & experienced Value Chain Controller. Reporting to the Management Accountant, your responsibility will be to ensure operational value chain reports are done daily and corrective action taken timeously, hence minimizing loss to the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper grain grading procedures are in place and being always implemented by Intake staff.
• Ensure grain quality disputes are resolved according to industry standards and norms.
• Verify transfer scale readings are recorded on Mill logs.
• Ensure Intake weight shortages are investigated and recovered from liable parties.
• Monitor and ensure production scale readings are correctly recorded on Mill logs.
• Bakery Productions, Reconciliations and Related are processed timeously.
• Compile mass reconciliation reports for the Bakery, Intake and Milling departments.
• Advise Operations Manager of any variances for remedial action.
• Compile Value Chain for finished goods and give same to Operations Manager for review.
• Adhere to all food safety procedures.
• Undertake other related duties assigned by the supervisor as may be necessary for the achievement of the overall production objectives.
• Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least two (2) years’ post qualification experience and a Degree in Accounts/Finance. BICA Registered & must have working knowledge of the SAGE accounting system. Computer literacy is essential. Experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry will be an added advantage. Good communication skills, good planning and organizing skills, the ability to multi-task, and good analytical skills.
